New York City is the city that never sleeps, and that includes not sleeping on important life celebrations, including weddings, bar mitzvahs, graduation parties, etc. Even though we can’t fathom what it’s like to fully get together with people and celebrate things during a pandemic (what variant are we on anyway?), we’re putting that energy out there and manifesting that we can attend these places…soon. If you’re ready to look and plan ahead, here are 5 amazing NYC event venues for you.
First off, we have Midtown Loft and Terrace – they have two-floor plans, the Loft and the Terrace, and they can accommodate any event you’re planning, including Sweet 16s, company events, different functions, etc. The venue also has a ton of press from the New York Times, New York Weddings, and guidelines around Covid-19 and hosts a virtual tour on their website, which is nifty. It’s classy but versatile and could suit a lot of different occasions.
We also love the Tribeca Rooftop + 360 degrees, as they host many corporate functions, weddings, and any social gatherings. One of our favorite things about this venue is that they have an EXHAUSTIVE list of things they offer and a comprehensive list of frequently asked questions. They also have a virtual tour and offer their space as studio space for your next photo or film shoot, with stunning views of the Manhattan skyline.
If you want an equally beautiful space, but on the Chelsea side of the city, may we suggest Glasshouse Chelsea? This is a modern event space that, in their own words, “provides amplified and epic experiences for our guests.” You can customize the venue to fit your needs, be it fashion, product, tradeshows, nonprofits, weddings, or whatever.
Glasshouse Chelsea also has a list of preferred vendors, including kosher caterers, entertainment, florists, linens, photographers, and more that will make your life infinitely more manageable as you plan your big day. You can also read more about the Prism company; the press Glasshouse Chelsea has gotten, and book the venue space online as well!
The next venue we suggest is 26 Bridge/BK Venues in Brooklyn. This venue not only provides you with their list of preferred vendors but also provides their venue specs, testimonials, and a virtual tour that you can utilize to plan your event. This is a former metal factory converted into an event space, so you’re getting original brick walls, wooden floors, and high ceilings! And if you don’t find this space to your liking, you can also use the BK Venues tag to search through their other areas until you find something that meets your needs.
Lastly, if you’re looking for a venue in Queens, we love the Foundry off 9th Street. This space is broken up into the main area, a Courtyard, a Terrace, a Greenhouse, an Albra Room, and a Pool Room- with the first two rented out as part of a main package, and the rest rented out as additional spaces when needed. Your rental comes with three staff personnel for your event and a fully equipped kitchen.
You can also choose to use the Foundry’s caterers, rental partners, and their other preferred vendors, or you can bring your own. Many parts of the Foundry are covered in ivy and other greenery and allow you to throw a picturesque and memorable event in 3,000 square feet of raw space in Queens.
