We love Williamsburg here – not just for the amazing food, the one-of-a-kind vintage shopping, the views of Manhattan, but also because it enables our penchant for inebriation in the name of trying new brews. So because we love helping our readers and want new friends to join us in our brew tours, here’s a list of the best Williamsburg apartments near breweries.
First, we have the apartments at 119 North 11th Street. The condos at this building are drenched in sunlight, with brand new Venetian blinds (if you’re goth or boil like a lobster in the presence of the sun), refinished floors, fresh paint, and new air-conditioning systems in all the units. This building is just a stone’s throw away from both locations of Brooklyn Brewery, the touring location, and the other regular guest location. This Williamsburg bastion of bacchanalia offers lagers and IPAs year-round, as well as seasonal brews, limited beers, and non-alcoholic beverages for those who prefer them. They also host events regularly, with indoor and outdoor seating, and have a blog with recipes that use their brews.
Another option we suggest is the apartments at 93 Knickerbocker Avenue, in East Williamsburg. Located right on the edge of Williamsburg and Bushwick, these condos are large, with ample closet space, natural sunlight, hardwood floors, and pet friendly. The building also happens to be close to Kings County Brewers Collective, a newer brewery off Troutman Street that does everything from stouts to pale ales to IPAs. The brews crafted are phenomenal and meld unique ingredients for flavor profiles out of this planet. Their website also has some helpful links on events and how to find their beers local to you.
Two other breweries close to 93 Knickerbocker that we love are Interboro Spirits and Ales and Grimm Artisanal Ales. Interboro is a distillery that makes whiskey that could make Sinatra smile, and their other offerings do not disappoint either. Grimm, however, specializes in elevated ales, inspired by Belgium ales, and their Black Sour ale is to die for.
Last up on our apartment tour of Best Williamsburg Apartments Near Breweries are the apartments at 518 Morgan. Newly renovated and on the corner of Williamsburg and Greenpoint, you will get ample closet storage, street parking, and a pet-friendly space. Perhaps the most convenient feature of this apartment is the proximity to two more brewing spaces, namely War Flag Brewing Company and 18th Ward Brewing, both just a couple of blocks away.
War Flag is a family-owned brewery specializing in American Pilsner and has other locations in Connecticut and Virginia. 18th Ward offers unique pilsners, IPAs, and pale ales on draft, offering a mug club membership that has discounted beer to club members and home delivery, which is our favorite feature from a brewery ever.
We are sure that you love our list of Best Williamsburg Apartments Near Breweries – but if there’s a brewery in Brooklyn that you think we need to try and has brews that rock your socks off, let us know! Or, please let us know if we missed your favorite Williamsburg apartment near a brewery.
