Whether it’s you, your family, your friends or someone who awkwardly messaged you on Facebook, people want to know, “Where to Stay Near Airports for Travelers” in NYC. We’re here to help!

Our fair city is home to many different industries, including everything from Airlines to Consulting. Many companies in these industries require their employees to travel, and 50 plus hours out of New York and on the road is no joke. To make the lives of frequent travelers and weekend warriors easier, we have compiled a list of apartments near three main NYC airports that you can come to when you’re all peopled out.

LaGuardia

We’re starting the list with a couple of apartments near LaGuardia, in Queens. When you’ve gone through multiple plane landings, TSA, and you’re over dealing with the airport’s crowds and construction, you can come home to the apartments at 22-48 78th Street. The building is only a mile away, and the condos themselves come with ample closet space, large bedrooms, and updated kitchens with spacious living rooms and hardwood floors. There is also easy street parking and momentary access to public transit if you want to leave your apartment and go directly into the city.

Another option we love is the building at 1908 81st Street, as it’s right off Bowery Bay, and you can literally spit into LaGuardia’s Terminal A parking (I mean, I guess if you wanted to!). The apartments in this building are large, with a lot of sunlight, much closet space, plentiful parking if you have a car, as well as a paid private parking space. Each apartment comes with hardwood floors and ceiling fans if you prefer them to A/C units in the summer.

JFK

However, if you prefer JFK to LaGuardia, we have a great suggestion in that area as well. How about 75-15 Pitkin Ave, which is about ten minutes away from JFK? The building is in the Ozone Park neighborhood, which is super residential, and the apartments have updated bathrooms, kitchens, and closets, with enormous living rooms. You will also have plenty of sunshine (if that is what you want, personally we are goths who hate sun, but you do you) and an eat-in kitchen, as well as access to shopping, groceries, restaurants, etc.

Westchester County

Lastly, if your preference leans more to a quieter regional airport than the larger international ones, and you love the Westchester County Airport, we’ve got a couple of great places for you to consider. The Avalon White Plains community at 27 Barker Ave comes with a door attendant, garage, pool, gym, and a children’s playroom. The apartments themselves come with wood floors, walk-in closets, terrific views, and in-unit washer-dryer combos, as well as fully-equipped kitchens. They also happen to be pet-friendly and only 13 minutes away from the Westchester airport!

Another nearby option is 15 Bank Apartments on the aptly named 15 Bank Street. Only 16 minutes and roughly 8 miles away from the airport, this building includes a gym and swimming pool, a doorman, and 24-hour maintenance. One unique feature at 15 Bank is a valet dry-cleaning service that we have not seen elsewhere at other luxury apartment communities. Shared resident amenities include a business center, a clubroom, Wi-Fi access in communal areas, and a courtyard with barbecue grills. Of course, each apartment comes with a full-size washer and dryer, internet access, walk-in closets, and a Whirlpool appliance package in the kitchen.
